HOH - Hazel's Boudoir

Very imaginatively decorated

We arrived at about 3pm and the rooms were just cold. The heat pump struggled to warm it up and it never got cosy. Cold hands don't go down well in a boudoir. My wife was pleased to see an electric bed but her side did not work. My side worked intermittently and at one point got stuck fully up and vibrating.

What a special little find in Matamata. Beautiful decor, so warm and inviting. Outdoor areas to enjoy - again well decorated. Self serve laundry facilities on site (very much appreciated at the end of our trip). Great communication with the HOH team on last minute configuration changes.

I love this place and will promote it to anyone who’ll listen. My only suggestion to make the experience next level would be a strip heater in the main outdoor area so the space can be enjoyed past sundown in the late autumn/winter. Or, a cheeky little fire pit (if permitted).

The cabin didn’t hold the temperature well, it got quite cold in the night

The furnishing, the location, the easy check in, the amenities, I was surprised to find an air frying (although didn’t get to use it), everything about the place is lovely and I’d definitely return for another trip with my little one another time.

Nothing I didn’t like about it.

Beautiful apartment where you feel right at home. I absolutely recommend staying here. :)
