The location as it met our needs

The place was cluttered too much unnecessary furniture in the room, we felt like it was a dumping ground for the furniture the owner had. The blinds were broken as it let in the night light a bit too prices for the one nights stay, It wasn't as clean as I felt it should be.

The location is interestingly, very historical, especially being ex royal navy, it is an amazing development and Plymouth as a city also, noticed a lot of brilliant changes since the late 90's/ early 2000's. Royal William Yard felt like home for the 3 days we stayed there, it's very secure, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Lots of options available to us, depending whether we wanted food or drinks or even to watch a movie at their cinema..... which we took full advantage of! It was so nice to be surrounded by the sea and all the delights that came with that and we enjoyed the walk around the place, taking in as much as we could. The building had a great blend of old and new, with the amazing stone work on show in the apartment coupled with modern facilitie, which gave it a great feel of security and it's history. The apartment had everything we needed and was warm, comfortably cosy and the perfect size for a weekend visit. We walked into the city centre and the barbican area in the daytime, too experience the place on foot, taking detours around the Hoe, Union Street and the famous Stone House. Then used the buses in the evening, which dropped us of right outside the Yard. Went on a boat trip with Plymouth Boat Trips and showed my son where i use to work, at the Devonport Naval Dockyard and also learnt some extra history i never knew about the place. Also enjoyed the National Marine Aquarium after our breakfast at Monty's cafe, very impressed with the work they are involved in at that place. See you all again in the summer.

Great communication from the owner, compact, but a beautiful building, warm, well equipped and comfortable room.

The weather.... But I can hardly hold the apartment responsible for that

Really clear instructions provided for parking and gaining entry. Lovely clean place, perfect for a relaxing quiet break.
