Perfect size for our group. Good directions and communication. Parking space.

Steps and railing up to property need some attention.

The home is in good condition. The view from the house is also a very good. The house is clean when we reached there. The house owner is also good.

Nothing is there that we didn’t like. Everything we liked there.

A nice, clean, well appointed apartment in an interesting historic location (old naval hospital complex). Being a very quiet area, allied to the comfy beds ensured a quiet night’s sleep. Only a 10-15 minute walk into central Plymouth, albeit the district outside this gated housing complex didn’t feel the safest! WiFi was good, and kitchenette well equipped.

There was no hot water available from either the kitchen or bathroom taps (sink and bath). This isn’t great for washing hands etc. The shower did however produce hot water as it’s an electric shower, so this is clearly a boiler issue. The shower was difficult to use as the water temp fluctuated, being occasionally scalding hot! In the end, we got it to work ok by setting the function to ‘Eco’ and moving the temperature dial to roughly 1 o’clock (as you look at the temperature dial). Good luck with it! Also, the TV had no terrestrial stations available - only via streaming services; but a minor issue really as we didn’t spend much time in the apartment.

Great location and perfect for a family weekend break

Lovely property in a good quiet location that’s still walkable to town. The Millfields development is very nice. The beds were comfy; however the main bed was quite broken and could only be slept on one side. This was ok for us as it was only needed for 1 but it would have been an issue for a couple. Facilities were everything needed for a short stay and the washer dryer came in handy.

The broken bed wasn’t ideal. Also we were told maintenance would come to fix a leaky bathroom tap. They never came and we had to shut it off at the supply or have constantly running hot water which was dangerous for the kids. Also the outside banister was rotten and the posts just fell to the ground as we arrived! This felt quite unsafe as you could just fall out the side from the top very easily. The biggest issue was the indoor banister. A post from this fell inches away from my son’s head whilst he played fussball below! This would have caused a very serious head injury had it hit him falling from a height. Also made the banister very unsafe and would have been impossible for younger children to stay at the property safely.

Truly spacious room, and we really enjoyed the layout of the building. Beyond the room, the grounds outside was amazing, a relaxing environment.

Location - cleanliness and everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable

Unfortunately there was no hot water so we boiled the kettle or used cold water- not too much of a problem as it was so hot.

The overall experience was perfect, easy to find and top quality accomodation
