This apartment is ideally positioned close to Ortygia and close to the shops but quiet at night. It has all the facilities you could possibly wish for, 3 bathrooms, comfortable beds and a lift. Lea is a lovely lady, most welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Everything. From the start the communication from the owners was excellent. The apartment was brilliant- great location and facilities. Such a beautiful building. Nothing to dislike or improve on.

Casa Diaz was perfect for our needs. It was located about a 7 minute walk from Ortigia in one direction and a nine minute walk from the train and bus stations in the other direction. It has lots of restaurants located in the immediate area and, although the area is quite busy during the day, it was very quiet at night making sleep easy to come by. The apartment was clean and adequately supplied and Lea, who checked us in, was very informative about all the sites and things to do in Syracusa. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location central to the main sights of Siracusa. Lea was very helpful. Was great having air conditioning in each room.

A lot of street noise at night. Finding close (and legal) street parking among the maze of one-way roads was at times challenging.

There was a bathroom per couple. Lea, our host was lovely.

Power kept tripping. Couldn’t keep the aircon on with oven or washing machine. Too hot to not have it on which made it hard to wash or cook. Tv also was not working. Wanted a night in to relax and had no entertainment other than scrolling on our phones. Location was ok. Although not far, in the intense summer heat it felt like quite a walk to Ortiga.

Great location, pretty quiet and very central. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 with ensuites and 1 extra bathroom. Washing machine and clothes drying rack plus small but functional kitchenette. Helpful and informative host.

Couldn't open the windows to the back double room, as when we did a large number of mosquitos came into the room (presumably from internal courtyard). Screens would solve that issue. Uncomfortable and very old lounge and arm chairs - all need to be replaced.
