Le Tre Campane Ortigia

Fantastic position in a Piazza in Ortigia just around the corner from the Duomo, this lovely apartment with the most breathtaking view from its vast terrace was perfect. However, it was the kindness of the owners , Fabrizio and Sabrina that made it extra special. Kind, and welcoming people with real grace. Dont hesitate to to book this apartment. The sofa bed is one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in and sunrise from the terrace is truely magical.

The wonderful view of the sea. The location was right in the old town. The owner was very helpful - he came to fetch us when we couldn't find the apartment. He provided plenty of fresh towels and shower gel and hair shampoo. The apartment and its terrace were spacious and beautifully renovated.

We put 'Le Tre Campane' into Google Maps which took us to the wrong place. That's our fault - we should have put in the address itself, but it's a mistake that others might fall into. The bed sheets were not very comfortable - they didn't stretch tightly over the bed, so kept ruckling up.

The property is fantastic. It is on the top floor of an apartment block with access by elevator. The large outside area has great views of the ocean and parts of the coast. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The bed was comfortable and the pillows good. Fabrizio was a great and helpful host providing us with useful suggestions.

There was nothing to dislike about the property.

It was a pleasure to stay in a lovely modern apartment in the very old island of Ortigia. The view was outstanding. Only real quibble is the totally inadequate lighting at the bathroom sink.

Wow, what a find!! Fabrizio met us on arrival and very kindly let us check in early. He is a warm and friendly host. The Translation App on his phone worked well when we were trying to communicate. First impressions very favourable. Apartment is minimalistic, with clean lines and splashes of colour. Spotlessly clean and everything in it's place - everything placed just so in the kitchen drawers!! We very much appreciated the thoughtful beverages left for us. Very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, good quality fresh towels and an absolutely wonderful large terrace to enjoy the atmosphere and gorgeous views. We were there for 10 nights and Fabrizio kindly arranged a linen change and cleaning half way through our stay. Ortigia is quite amazing and we found plenty to do. Would definitely recommend the one hour round the island boat trip also visiting the interesting caves. Thank you Fabrizio - we really enjoyed your apartment.

Fabulous view! Hard to imagine a better on in Ortigia. Watched an almost full moon rise our last night while enjoying take out pizza and an excellent bottle of local wine on the outdoor terrace.

No issues. Owners are next door and seemed willing to do anything to accommodate us.

We stayed here during our Honeymoon. The view from the terrace is phenomenal. It was absolutely breathtaking once you raise the window shade. It’s way more beautiful than the pictures. There are a lot of apartments with beautiful sea view, but I am certain that the view here is the best since it’s very expansive. not a small&narrow window, but a very wide window and terrace. It’s 5th floor (has an elevator too!) so the view has nothing to be disturbed. The location is amazing that the beach is so close and you can go anywhere in Ortigia easily. But very quite at the same time. There was a construction going on when we have arrived (it was finished when we checked out), but we were surprised that it was amazingly quite from that sound in the room. I loved everything about this room. It’s super clean, the interior is beautiful, room is spacious, has well equipped kitchen, amazing terrace with parasol. Also the host, Fabrizio, is so kind and nice. My husband and I were continously touched by his kindness. He couldnt speak English, but he kept trying to communicate with the translator. We could feel his warm-heartedness. He let us leave our luggage and check in a bit earlier than the informed time. And provided enough towels when we asked for. Refrigerator was filled with couple of beverages, which were all good. (Thank you) It was our best stay in Sicily. If I come back to Siracusa, I would definitely stay here again.
