Spacious newly refurbished central apt

Appartamento confortevole e pulito, la posizione è a 10 min a piedi dal centro. Ci siamo trovati molto bene

je zou van buitenaf niet verwachten dat dit zo'n mooi appartement is, ideale locatie, dichtbij enkele supermarkten en eetgelegenheden, niet ver van centrum en treinstation! Echt geweldig

de deurklinken van de ene slaapkamer en de badkamer kraakten nogal. Die kunnen mss beetje smering gebruiken ;-) en de deurpompen stonden nogal straf waardoor deuren moeilijk of niet konden blijven opstaan. Maar dat was uiteindelijk wel geen ramp.

Très bel appartement, très bien placé pour visiter la ville à pied, confortable et silencieux.

Les communs de l'immeuble sont lugubres, sincèrement ils font peur, il n'y a pas de lumière, c'est dégradé. Mais l'appartement est superbe. Par contre, à ce prix il n'y a pas de quoi cuisiner et pas de cafetière...

The communication with the staff was excellent! Apparently Booking.com was hacked and I received phishing messages indicating my reservation was not complete. The staff worked with me to assure I was confirmed for the unit. The space was clean and nice.

The check in/out procedure is convoluted. Walking down the street and around the corner to locate a lock box attached to a random fence was more difficult than most other units I’ve been in and just felt odd. If you stay here, do not rent a car! There is street parking, but the required “Ring Go” app for the machines does not work with phones from the US (this is per a parking enforcement officer). I was directed to a Q-Park garage at 34 Simpson Loan; this is roughly a 10 minute walk back to the unit.

Location was great for what we needed and acess to the old town was only a short 15 min walk.

There could have been milk in the fridge on arrival - very bare and not welcoming. The flat stank of cigarettes - not sure if it was previously inhabited by smokers or how to get rid of the smell.

The apartment was clean and spacious and in a good location. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great night sleep every night.

The apartment was lacking mirrors. There was only a dressing unit mirror in one bedroom and one in the bathroom. It would have been good to have a full length mirror in the hallway and one in the second bedroom. I found the second bedroom very dark so getting ready was difficult.
