Edinburgh Ocean Inn

Parking, the Parking in Edinburgh was horrible. Having a few parking spots at the location was amazing.

How far away everything was. Did not have a lot of dining options in walking distance from Ocean Inn.

I was nit given the same property as advertised, as they had overbooked the property. It spoilt the holiday, and bookings team is unresponsive about this fraud done with me

The house is nothing like the photos on website and none of the amenities are included, which are said within listing

Do not book this property. When we arrived, we phoned the number provided on the booking as we were unable to find the accommodation, only to be told we would receive a call back. After 10 minutes, we received a text stating that the accommodation had been overbooked and that we had been moved to a different location. When we arrived at the new location, it turned out to be a three-storey house with a total of 12 beds: three beds in three of the rooms, two double beds in one room, and one bed in the living room. The property was dirty and the décor was in a terrible state, with holes in the floors, plug sockets hanging off the walls, and lights dangling from the ceiling. There was mould in the showers, no Wi-Fi, no working TV, and barely any mobile signal. We tried contacting the owners multiple times but received no response.

I am afraid there is not a great deal to like about this place

Where do we start? The dirt and the dust, the non-stop noise of the busy road or the poor communication with the staff

My confirmed check-in time was 6:00 - 7:00 pm. After joyful exploration of Edinburgh, all were tired especially kids and reached the property by bus @ 6:10 pm. But couldn't collect the key from the locked box as the pin I got through SMS was not working. At 6:16 pm got an SMS saying my confirmed property changed to another location which is located at the place where I started my journey. I tried to contact the concerned party several times through phone and SMS, but nobody replied. So I had to spent more money and time to reach the new location. Booking Ocean Inn was really a waste of my time and money. Never recommend it again.. :(

I have booked the ocean Inn and provided other local flat , which was very untidy. I have phoned the staff after they changed my original booking and they have not answered my call .
