"Property refurnished and painted, worth higher rating now."

The property was recently refurnished and painted. There is no hole anymore which other reviews pointed. Cleaning is acceptable, but needs improvements for bed linens. Door lock for bathroom is missing. Owner replied my text messages, and sent property exact address and instructions of key collection in time. Considering the price, location, I would give 4 stars overall.

Booked the property then got a message from the host saying that they over booked they sent us to a different address which when we got there the standard was absolutely shocking. And below living standards 😡

"Rubbish"

First of all host didn’t check us in the apartment which we booked and given us different address to go when we reach there. I kept on calling host and sent pre request regarding our arrival time but he didn’t answer. It was almost middle of night and we were travelling with kids from Isle Of Mull so didn’t have any option to check in given address which was very far and took us 30 minutes drive from original location. Apartment was very cold. No heating was working. No hot water was available. All duvet covers and pillows were smelling sweaty. I even got a very bad flu from the apartment as it looks like used by so many people without cleaning. Overall this type of apartments and host and ruining booking.com name in market. Recently I booked so many properties with booking.com and was enjoying every single of them but last one was so dirty and filthy that I have lost faith in booking.com
