it was dirty cramped; no tv remote, clothing stuffed down the side of the bed. dust everywhere

good location and nice clean cosy bedroom

the main stairs could do with new carpets to cushion the sound

it was a convenient location.

the room was dirty - the floor was not swept and there was rubbish on the desk. the room was very cold - when i got in with no heating on and the windows open. later i realised tha the kitchen was very smelly that's why the windows were opened. the mattress not only was very old but also mouldy!

It was a very short walk from the medical school where I needed to be and the room was relatively large, getting into the property was very easy.

Although I did receive the refund for my damage deposit, it was not within the stated 24 hours and I had to ask him for it, otherwise I think he would’ve kept it. The heater had an LED screen on it that was very bright and the option to dim it only lasted a short while, so I decided to just turn it off because it was keeping me up. I could hear other people in their rooms being loud all night, talking on the phone etc. It sounded as if the walls were made of paper. The shower was broken and flimsily taped together, and let out just a drizzle. The kitchen stank and everything I touched was just slightly sticky. I never met the host, he never wished me a good stay, nothing except the bare minimum details required. I don’t mind that too much but others might.

Electric radiator - small and not heating up until morning 5am to reach 23' from 7-8 start at night, Shower electric - swinging from very cold to very hot with no option to optimise, thus ran out of shower from start Tap water not working for hot option Mattress and duvet - old worn out though considered as washed Two pillows of apparent 10 years duration No point in calling the landlord from late evening joining to fix all these, having to get up 6:30 to catch train
