On the first night (14 July), I was bitten multiple times while sleeping in bed. My hand became swollen, painful, and itchy, and by the following morning I was unable to bend my fingers properly. The windows in my room were closed throughout my stay. Despite reporting the incident to the hotel, no alternative room was offered, and on the second night (15 July), I suffered further bites to my shoulder and ear. I sought medical attention at Guy’s Urgent Care Centre (London) on 21 July 2025, where a clinician confirmed the presence of insect bite marks, reviewed photographs, and prescribed antibiotics (flucloxacillin) and antihistamines due to the severity of the reaction. I have attached the NHS documentation. The hotel has refused to provide any refund or compensation, and has not shared any pest inspection reports despite my request.

The place was really easy to find and enter and the support people were exceptional.

It was a bit noisy so not appropriate at all for those who need a good night's sleep of a quiet getaway.

It was clean had everything we wanted and more a really nice base to see Liverpool was so good we are booking again

It was not far from Lime Street Station. Easy check in Basic but clean and comfortable

Great location on partially pedestrianised cafe/restaurant area. Room 4 had good range of kitchen facilities ie microwave, toaster, full size fridge with good sized sink, kitchen work surface and fold down table with chairs. Really clean.

No drawers but we kept our clothes in our cases. No view but actually a bonus as no noise disturbance from street. Parking Bee parking recommended by accommodation wasdifficult to locate so we used the 24 hour council car park near to Aldelphi Hotel which is £6 per 24 hours and 6 minutres walk away.

Great location

Flooring have been cleaned more thoroughly after previous guests. Couldn’t walk on floor with bare feet due to grit/bit messy on feet. Doesn’t take much to sweep a floor properly then quick wash over with mop. Other than that. No complaints

The bathroom so small you barely can move

Was so central and had everything you need

Not the owners fault as such but a seagull has planted. A nest with chicks right next to our window so this disrupted sleep
