Beach Club Palm Cove 2 Bedroom Luxury Penthouse

The resort itself is obviously sensational, but I loved the high levels of communication from the moment we booked to our final day

Palm Cove has always been a favourite of ours and we returned to the Beach Club for the second time but this time with family, who also loved the area. The apartment was spacious enough for 5 adults and we were well supplied with towels for both the bathrooms and pool.

The apartment was comfortable for 5 people, however it is a little tired with sliding doors not meeting up both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen appliances were good but once again pans and utensils have seen much use and could do with replacing. We feel that the hot tub on the floor above us could do with some love as the water was green and didn't encourage us to feel that the water health was good for a soak. Also once again, this area could do with a bit of love. Don't let this feedback detract from your stay because in all these are issues easily fixed.

The resort is as stunning as the photos suggest and the apartment is lovely. Two bed, two bathroom was perfect for our family. We would certainly recommend the apartment to friends and stay there again ourselves. The small kitchen and seperate laundry with washer and dryer made this a home away from home (essential with small kids). We were initially concerned to read it was a walk up to level 3. In reality it’s the equivalent of 2 normal flights of stairs. My 3 year old ran up them on arrival.

The apartment is privately managed and not booked through the resort, which I didn’t realise initially. This ultimately made next to no difference as the host is lovely and very responsive by sms / phone. The apartment has a few small but noticeable maintenance issues. The most impactful are that the doors to the ensuite have a 3cm gap when closed (see photo). The door to the master bedroom needed to be held open with a doorstop to prevent it locking, which may be a concern if a small child is on the wrong side of the door (see photo). The AC in the living room seems a bit weak but was fine for our stay. Overall none of these detracted from our stay.

The location of The Beach Club itself was great.

The stairs and no lift mean we would not stay there again. The property was in a good location and great view but very run down. Bathroom doors don’t close properly, air con units are broken, sideboard draws don’t open so can’t use them, the sink in ensuite was loose and coming away from the vanity it was just very dated. Needs new outdoor furniture and maybe deck chairs up near spa. Just quite run down for what you pay and no lifts.

The property was comfortable with nice furnishings and necessities. It was in a great location in the resort.

The property was run down and needs lots of maintenance. There was black mould around a light fitting in the second bedroom, the aircon leaked water into the range hood, the range hood dropped dirt all over the stove top, the range hood itself smelt as it was that unclean and the marble around the stove was broken. We did not cook inside.

Great Location. Central to Palm Cove beach, shops & eateries. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Booking and communication was seamless with the owner. The jacuzzi was great. Standard of the place was a 4+

Climbing 3 flights of stairs each time we had to go anywhere. Should have a lift. Not for anyone who has physical limitations. Needed a little bit of maintenance- cupboard door handles missing. No real pantry for storing food. Some furniture drawers were crooked. Scratch and markings on lounge wall
