Spacious 500 sqft Studio with Balboa Park View

Flight path of airport.

The property is conveniently located right off the freeway so getting to and from our desired destinations was more than ideal. It was spacious and clean inside and out. One block from a CVS was awesome for all of our little necessities

The only thing left to be desired would be the overall location. There were a number of homeless directly around each corner of the building. But this is California, if you know you know. Overall a great experience

Location.

I want to thank the property manager for allowing me to keep my luggage on the property after checkout. Sadly, this place did not meet my expectations. I felt the investment was high and yet the owners have not invested in furniture that makes it comfortable to eat or work, There is no table to sit at, nor chairs, meaning that each meal needs to be taken standing up, eating on the bed, or balancing your plate on your lap. The same with checking your computer - there is nothing to accommodate that. Moreover, the list of broken items is extensive; broken waste bins, pot handles, limited supplies (3 hangers only, one dishtowel), stained couches. The noise levels are off the charts - the overhead planes (I was expecting that), the noise of the neighbors above, everyone walking past, and the noisiest refrigerator I've ever heard. I was so looking forward to my 4 night stay here but in the end, I was so pleased to leave.

It was cute. The inside was nice and spacious. None of the windows have screens on them so if you want to open them bugs can fly in. Patio has no screen door either

Homeless people everywhere. I understand that’s to be expected, but a homeless man was yelling all night long for help and food. Walls are super thin. You can hear everything. From other people stomping above, to doors opening, showers coming on upstairs and toilets flushing

Just the right amount of space. Walking distance to the center of Balboa park activities.

No paper towels provided. Directly under the flight path of the airport. Neighboring building is boarded up, lots of homeless nearby.

This is a fantastic location for exploring all we wanted to in our short San Diego stay for the marathon. The manager welcomed us warmly and we were able to check in a bit early. We felt very safe in the area and had a view and balcony overlooking Balboa Park. Kitchen was well equipped, laundry room if needed. Comfortable bed and large living area. We would definitely stay here again when back in the area!
