Lovely Studio w Full Kitchen in Heart of San Diego

Great location & very comfy apartment

The host was friendly and very helpful with every request I made. The room has plenty of space, a comfortable bed, multiple TFV options, and a small kitchen.

Nothing major comes to mind.

It was comfortable and had the basic amenities I needed

I had to wait for a long time to run the shower for warm water

The accommodation was secure and it was a nice cosy room, the staff were friendly and was in a great location near Balboa park and Gas lamp district. And great TV, enjoyed watching some of my favourite shows. The beds were comfortable, nice pillows.

It said there were 3 beds, so we all thought we would have our own space. But it was one double bed and one pull out bed. So yes there were 3 sleeping spaces, but not 3 beds. It was very cosy....

Location is practical and there is a great bar literally on the corner of the same block. This is somewhat dampened by the unfortunate homeless individuals that often spend the night on the same street. Sadly this is a common occurrence in many streets in the area and not unique to this property.

Noise insulation very poor, ear plugs provided but no mention of the property being on a flight path. This was not helped by terribly obnoxious tenants in the apartment above playing music and making noise from 10pm to 4am all 4 nights. This is not the owners fault, nor did we inform them as more often than not, complaints often lead to escalation of the issue not a resolution. So this should not reflect badly on the landlord but serve as a warning to those if you are unlucky and get a downstairs flat.

It was comfortable and clean. I liked the kitchen facilities.

TV remote did not work and water pressure was very low.

The property was very clean and very secure. Security is important for solo travelers. The studio had everything one could need. The location was handy across from the Balboa Park.

Some of the other guests were inconsiderate and kept running on the stairs to flats above.
