Small bed, uncomfortable mattress. Very noisy, I heard everyone, upstairs and to the side. No soundproofing.

Terrific location to prep for a wedding and following day event in Balboa Park and Crown Point area. The kitchen was really helpful!

The apartment is comfortable, excellent location on the park, there are free parking spaces in the area

Great location near the Balboa Park, secure car parking (extra cost), clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. There's a communal washing machine and dryer that needs coins (though I think this should have been made clearer in the description; or maybe I missed it). Overall we did enjoy our stay with some caveats below to be aware of.

Booking.com description pretty confusing around the number of beds: "1 single bed (90-130 cm wide), 1 double bed (131-150 cm wide), 1 sofa bed (Variable Size)". We turned up as a family of four (two adults, two teens) just to realise that there is a double bed and only a futon that can be turned into about 3/4th of a double bed. Not a very comfortable sleep, hence my rating on comfort. However, for two or three people that's sufficient. I'd add a bit of a noise from people walking up the stairs to the room above but I'd not say it's major.

Great location opposite Balboa Park, lots of bus routes nearby and a short walk to downtown. Apartment was immaculately presented and very comfortable. AC worked well in hot weather. Getting access using multiple codes worked seamlessly.

I didn't realise (my fault for not checking) that there is no lift access. Fortunately I had an apartment on the first floor, otherwise getting my heavy bag up and down what looked like some steep steps to the upper floors would have been a challenge. Another bath towel would have been good.
