Birmingham City Centre City View Apartments Central very close to Bullring

Comfortable beds. 2 bathrooms with good showers. Nice sitting room kitchenette. Clean. Affordable.

Sadly there was no coffee/ tea maker which is mentioned as part of facilities. For 6 people there staying were only 3 cereal bowls ( one of these badly cracked). Otherwise adequate crockery and utensils. Pans had a very well used look to them. Appartment was pretty clean, but bathroom floors are both in need of a very good deep scrub and new grout between the floor tiles. One medium towel per person only. No bath mats provided. However, on request, we were provided with some extra towels. Fridge was missing a place in the door to hold milk. There was a lamp in the twin room but nowhere to plug if in beside the beds! Instructions in appartment said to take our rubbish down to the basement when we left. It was a mess down there. No obvious facility for recycling .

They cancelled the booking with less than 24 hours notice

Spacious, bed was comfortable.

The remote didn't work properly. Kitchen cookware needs updating.

We liked the location

We didnt like anything about the apartment. We did not stay in the apartment. We checked out immediately. I notified the person I was communicating with, sent him the pictures, told him I wanted a refund, however he refused and stopped communicating with me. The furniture was filthy, discolored, old, stained. The kitchen was nasty. The toaster was disgusting, dirty with remnants of dried toast, the stove had caked on grease & burned marks, the kitchen walls were dirty, the refrigerator doors were dirty, the base of the kitchen floor was broken. The carpet in the bedroom was torn and discolored with dark brown spots, like dried up poop. The front entrance to the apartment was filthy with dark grease like stains. The odor in the hallway after exiting the elevator was unbearable. This was the worst experience I have every had, and to top it off, I was told I will not be refunded.
