Bergstaðastræti Apartment

Perfect for exploring Reykjavík and very close to tour pick up point. Clean and furnished well for the three of us. It was not a problem for us but the small bedroom was accessed via the main bedroom.

Single glazing resulted in high condensation, not too bad to manage, but needed to be sorted every morning (really surprise windows were not double glazed). That said it did not detract from our stay. A couple of coat hooks would have helped.

Location was great. Comfy quiet accomodation. Really recommend it.

Had to take the smoke alarm battery out to cook, as every time you opened the oven or cooked a piece of toast it went off. This was the only issue though,everything else was great.

Great stay! The apartment was charming and beautifully decorated, in an excellent location close to everything. The host was friendly and welcoming. It had what we needed for our time in Reykjavík.

We didn’t read the fine lines properly, and ended up realizing there is no free parking at the property. There is PAID street parking in front or on the street Make sure you park at the P3 zones. The parking in P3 zones are chargeable from 9 am to 6pm Mon to Fri. After 6pm or before 9 am it is free. Use the Parka app. If you park at P1 or P2 zones the parking is chargeable from 9 am to 9 pm even in weekends! Do note also that there are no toiletries provided unlike other homes where we have stayed in Iceland.

We stayed there for the 2nd time, due to the location, quietness, good parking and quality of the apartment

.Hosts were not responsive. They charge cleaning fee but the microwave & oven were not clean

Great location. Lovely apartment. We had everything we needed. We were treated to the Hot Tub after a long day. Thank you! Some logistics that others have mentioned. You do walk through the main bedroom to get to the smaller bedroom. This did not bother us. And the head clearance is low in front of the toilet.

The parking is paid parking that you find on the street. It was not a problem to find parking . We just did not read the fine print that you had to pay for it. About 6 euros a day either through the parking meters or the parka app.

Location is excellent easy walking to everything
