Bowness Bay View

The location was great, main bedroom was comfortable

It wasn’t advertised as a second floor apartment and we had a lot of luggage as a family and without a lift in the building this was problematic. Also the bin in the kitchen was tiny- though the host kindly bought more bin bags and were responsive during our stay. There was also no Wifi- which surprised us in 2025 - and unfortunately cost us a lot in extra data fees as overseas visitors.

Perfect location, easy to park, nice apartment

The location was incredible. Central, and just a couple of minutes walk to the Bowness shops and lake. The private parking is an excellent bonus. The host replied to any questions with incredible speed! The property had everything we needed, was clean, comfy and well presented. Don’t let the no internet put you off, it’s refreshing to be off grid!

A couple of clothes hanging hooks in the twin bedroom would be helpful :)

Lovely apartment and central location

It was the top apartment climbing stairs

-Well-appointed flat - excellent location - great communication with host - comfy beds - kitchen had all the tool kit required

- no Internet access a bit of a deal breaker, but it was my fault, I should have checked properly. - steep, narrow staircase, probably not the best if limited mobility.

Close to the lake restaurants and shops had everything we needed at the property few stairs to walk up but not a problem.

This property is absolutely stunning, so clean and decor is beautiful

Nothing at all

Lovely place, very cosy atmosphere central to all the town buzz, but hidden enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The owner was very prompt in responses and ensured the family and I enjoyed our time in the Lake District! Thank you .
