Bowness Bay View

Loved the location. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Property was nicely decorated; great to have a living area and kitchen. Property is on the second floor which I didn’t realise, not sure if it says somewhere I may have missed it (with a pram and a dog, it was a bit of a juggle!) You have to bring your own towel again, a bit of annoyance to have to bring them with you for short trip away. I know it was noted in other reviews but the toilet is very loud and takes quite a while to refill. Along with the clicking of heating; previously mentioned quite loud. Great addition of free parking with property; as so hard to find proper parking so central in bowness. Definitely would stay again as value for money we couldn’t fault.

Lovely modern apartment with comfy beds. Toilet needs attention as it takes forever to refill after flushing & the seat doesn't fit properly. The lake view is more of a glimpse as there's a big tree blocking it. The sofa's are very worn & could do with replacing. The location was perfect for access to shops, bars & restaurants.

Great location for seeing Bowness on Windermere and you're also right next to a bus stop that takes you to Ambleside and Grasmere

Great location. Right near the centre and walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect. Added bonus of free parking. Lovely little apartment. Very clean. As photos. Good communication from the host. Would def visit again.

If being picky could do with blackout blinds in the bedroom

Lovely little apartment in a fabulous location. Decorated beautifully, lovely and comfortable, very clean, just what we wanted. The only downside was the heating being noisy throughout the night.

The flat was very central in Bowness, however there were many stairs which were challenging for 77 year olds and an arthritic dog! The flat was lovely and warm when we arrived but only heating in 2 rooms worked on our second /third day. There was however a portable radiator which helped. The accommodation was good value and clean with a helpful info sheet when we arrived.

On Sunday morning we were woken to hammering and drilling from, we think, the flat below. This continued until we went out at lunch time. Initially we struggled to find the apartment. A map would have been useful.

This place clean comfortable and warm . Had all what you would need in the place . Top marks for this place
