Holualoa Gardens 101

The location was great, just across the street from the shore. It is just the right distance from downtown Kona. Close enough for a quick trip, but away from the crowds. The apartment was well-suited for four people. The kitchen was furnished with many implements and appliances for handling our needs. The washer/dryer were excellent for towels and not over-packing. Loved having the snorkel equipment, beach towels and cooler provided. With assigned parking, you were guaranteed to have parking each night. Cannot opine about the pool, since we did not use it. Host was very good on responding to contacts.

Really nothing. (If they could moved it across onto the beach, JK.)

Well-appointed unit, with queen bed and two twins. Everything we could have wanted during our stay was provided: beach towels and chairs, snorkel gear, sunscreen and sunburn ointment.

Location

Parking could've been better but still had a parking spot just a smaller parking spot and lot.

The apartment was a great location for us to access all the different sights we wanted to see: captain cook trail, green sand beach and south point. There were plenty of restaurants to eat at. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed: shampoo, cream rinse, hair dryer, beach towels, snorkel gear , coffee, cream, laundry soap, and air conditioning. We were very happy with the accommodations.

There was such attention to the little details that make a trip comfortable. From snorkeling gear and beach towels to coffee, spices, and shampoos. She labelled everything for ease of use and it was decorated for comfort and “cuteness” in mind. The price was reasonable and the location was close to many sights. A cute little farmers market was across the street as well as a historical church a food truck and the beach. A swimming beach was a short distance down the road.

She made it clear that the location is a bit challenging after dark the first time you arrive. It was but her directions worked!
