Nice place and clean

The owner late response and after we checked out three days already hvnt get back our deposit yet and our msg was never get reply this is my first time get this type of experience.... When check in also we booked one place and owner ask us to get key in another place and go check in at another place we come two family with kids and this is first time we come peneng really make us very stressed

"Will never book it again and advice not to book"

There is a RM200 deposit fee collected via bank transfer and even after 2 days after check out no signs of any refund - even with picture evidence provided that the premise was left without damage . Not sure if I will ever get it refunded

Dear Booking.com Team, I am writing with extreme dissatisfaction regarding my recent experience with a booking made through your platform. I strongly suspect that this is a scam — where the host is using Booking.com to collect reservations and then deliberately causes last-minute cancellations in order to profit from cancellation fees. I had a very bad experience with this particular booking. I was already in Penang on 25th June, yet the host repeatedly ignored all my calls and messages. Only at the very last minute did the owner finally answer, only to ask me to cancel the booking myself. This situation caused major disruption and stress, as I was suddenly forced to find alternative accommodation for myself and my teammates. It took me over six hours to secure a new place, which was much more expensive and inconveniently far from town. This is completely unacceptable. It is extremely disappointing that Booking.com allows such irresponsible or potentially fraudulent hosts to operate on your platform without proper verification or accountability. This kind of experience makes customers feel cheated, scammed, and completely unprotected. I am requesting a full investigation into this listing, and more importantly, I demand compensation for the time lost, the stress caused, and the additional costs I had to incur due to this issue. I hope to hear back from you promptly with a resolution. If not, I will have no choice but to escalate this further and consider sharing my experience publicly.

"Scammer"

The location is strategic

We were a group of 3 adults and 2 kids aged 6. Upon check in, the host didn't allow me to check in till I pay additional Rm65 as the unit allowed only 4 pax and kid is considered as an adult too! I had back and forth arguments with the host but ended up paying Rm65 and Rm100 for the deposit as well. Once I checkout, I did provide my bank details for the refund but till now I haven't receive my refunds. It'd been more than a week now.. I tried to contact the host but the host ignored me. According to the property rules, kids above 12 is considered as adult and my kids is only 6! The host has scammed me on this!

Person in charge cannot contact by call. Only whatsapp. Keys collection are at other location which is about 2km from the accomodation. (Hard for tourist that dont have transport)

The Landmark admin ( LMA) suddenly changed my booking to other apartments - MANSION SUITE. After requesting to keep the original booking, TLM changed to Santorini Suite but with an additional charge of RM60 for my 3yr old baby. After discussing with the family, from 3A2K was changed to the original booking, which is 2A2K. However, the admin still wanted to ask for an additional payment wth reason that he didn't trust me. He was afraid I would bring more than 2A, even though I asked him to come check but he didn't want to. I take 2 hours tp requested/appealed but with no discretion the admin still wanted to charge an additional payment, even when I make a few called rudely he immediately hung up the phone. I waited for 1 hour at the key collection point, wth tired after work in Peneng. I have booked and stayed at The Landmark several times. I was treated well but this is my first experience of being treated so badly and rudely. I was also a bit surprised because a 3 year old baby was charged while during my stay in any hotel/apartment bellow 5yrs was not charged. I hve all the conversation as evidenced!

1) 1at conversation he changed our accommodation from The Landmark to Mansion One without asking @ discussion. 2) He wants to charge extra for a 3 year old baby. 2) The staff cannot tolerate + rudely

"Poor and bad managment hotel and booking.com"

Scam!!! they change our room and location to another diffrance place not the one that what we booking from here and the room that we to stay had another 2 another people staying already when we ask for cancelation they don want to respond when we keep calling they keep rejecting our call.. they guy don even know how to speake well in bahasa and english.. really misreable and nightmare for us me my wife and two kids so in tension.. when we refund back our money when we ask for cancelation they ignoreing Guys im telling u all this is the real story tht happen to us on 4/6/2025… the very poor manengmnt even this booking.com also didnt solve this problem both are very bad im telling you 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
