Flat 8, 10 St Johns

Bed didn’t have mattress protectors, duvet and pillow so thin. Shower only went hot and sprayed everywhere and not very strong pressure. Wasn’t cleaned when we got there. You could hear everything and smell everything others was smoking and cooking. Reception like a dumping place, fridge freezer, sofa’s.

The reception was dirty lots of rubbish, No micro wave, shower leaking.

The location was fantastic, a short walk to the beachfront (with a beautiful sandy beach and clear blue waters), with beachfront restaurants and a play park for the kids. There’s lots to explore with gardens and the pier too. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach between May and September though. A short walk in the other direction takes you to a high street with plenty of shops to keep you stocked on your holiday, and lots of restaurants (including McDs for those fussy kids). The apartment has a smart TV so you can watch any programmes you would like. Mostly clean although could do with some attention to detail. Nice to have a little decking area (although it needs cleaning, and perhaps a pot plant?).

First impressions at this accommodation did not go well, there was no where to park at first, but after driving around a little longer someone had left the car park and there was space (this happened the next time we went out in the car too). The car park needs some attention, with overgrowing weeds, a lot of dead leaves, cigarette butts, stinky, overflowing bins and cardboard rubbish left down next to the bin store. Then you get to the front door, which is broken, and enter into the foyer. Which also seems to be a dumping ground. With several furniture items stacked up, and piles of letters and parcels for tenants. Now we are inside, and the apartment is better than we were expecting, compared to what we had seen so far. However, the beds were very uncomfortable! And if you have a shower anyone that needs to use the toilet after has to go through the wet floor. For the small space that it is they’ve done well to fit what they have in there, but it needs a few more clever ideas to be an enjoyable space, like somewhere to hang clothes.

Great location. Facilities are as advertised. Clean little modern space.

Somewhere to stay so that’s something and the small garden I could sit and have a cup of tea

The bed was so close to the ceiling. I moved all bedding and there was hair underneath all bedding. There was bloody snotty tissue at the side of the bed. The towels smelt damp and sofa was really uncomfortable. There was a zip lock bag with crumpled up cannabis underneath the sofa and joint buts all over the garden. Wouldn’t recommend but would stay here again if desperate

Overall for the price and the area it was very nice to stay. Clever gallery bed design:)

-the shower head needs to be repaired -the light in the bathroom sensor goes on and off when we are not using.... basically very sensitive -would be nice to have a hairdryer:D -better knife for cutting Apart those all 👍🏼 decent:)

perfect location, comfortable beds, patio. Good place for short stay

Wi-Fi not working, despite contacting the host, the problem was not solved. the bathroom is constantly wet. cleanliness could be better.
