Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please inform Charles Hope Southampton Centre in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of GBP 50 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. All guests must undergo an ID verification process and completion of our security deposit invoice. Guests are required to upload ID for all guests via a secure platform after booking. Please be advised that until these procedures are completed, we are unable to provide check-in information. Guests living within a 15 miles radius of the property will be required to pay a refundable security deposit of £500

Checkin process. Links for pre-checkin sent couple days prior were not working. Location does not have good cellular connection on international networks. The wifi was not working.

Everything about the flat was very good except the two small points below.

The outlook was over the back of a restaurant and a building site with piles of rubbish. There are four entrance doors around the building only one of which responds to the access from the telephone number of the control room. More guidance on the location of the correct foot to go to would be helpful. The correct door was the last one that we found.

"Disappointing parking situation and associated customer service"

Location

Small and uncomfortable bed. Parking fine where I was told to park. I chased and chased and chased to resolve and it took 2 weeks after our stay.

"Reasonably priced but terribly managed"

The room was clean and relatively well presented with towels and tea and coffee provided.

The lights in the ensuite were broken, the lamp next to the bed had no socket to plug into. The 'double' bed was 2 singles pushed together. The private car park required a fob to gain entry which was in the room, to get the fob I had to park in a public paid car park which was very inconvenient after a 4 hour drive with 2 children and luggage.
