The Hobbit House

Wonderful and cute llittle wooden house, looked as shown on photos, "cozy" would be the right description. I loved it, my partner was not too impressed by the size as he hit his head a few times on the door frame :D LIttle fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and dishes.

It was not exactly well insulated, it was fine for this time of the year, but I guess it must get a lot of draft through the gaps in the window/doorframe. I think also the roof leaked a little bit, there was a lot of rain where we visited. Also I tried not to think of all the spiders that will have gotten in through the gaps in the walls/frames.

Unique little place with lots of character. Well equipped and very comfortable. Enjoyed the amenities that were available. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounds of Fort William. Our host made us feel very welcome.

Loved the quirky accommodation which was very different to any place we have stayed previously. We were very pleased to have a bath as we were active and it's always very welcome to soak the achey muscles 😁 It had all the facilities anyone could need whilst away for a few days. The bed/bedding was very comfortable.

The setting close to houses was a slight downside albeit we didn't feel a lack of privacy. The area around the Hobbit House would benefit from a bit of TLC.

Petit cocon avec toutes commodités. C'était parfait.
