Grand Winterberry - Lake View Luxury Residence

The apartment has everything you need and is very comfortable. We had imagined that it is an apartment in a hotel but it is an apartment. It's a 15 minute walk to the city. Easy to get a tuk tuk back. We cooked one night. The man was very obliging and friendly. They even put up a Christmas tree with lights.

Location/cleanliness cooperative staff nice place to stay with family. Clean rooms and washrooms.. Beautiful view from balcony. My family really love this place.

The apartment was beautiful, fitted with a kitchen incase you may want to make some quick snacks for your group.

The garden view of the guesthouse infront of the balcony was really nice. Balcony was really cool, it is a good location as it is near to most places. All utensils and plates were available.

Wifi was very very very slow. A zero i must give to that. The pool? It was a kids pool and doesnt look like it has been cleaned in a long time. Expected it to be a hotel, but it was an apartment in a residential building. Stayed for 4 days and got no room service. We have to take the garbage out by ourselves also. They tried to charge extra 5000lkr per night i think for room heater. Despite the price this was not also included in the pkg. Since its an apartment, we expected that we could do laundry, but turns out we have to pay 300lkr per kg (not that much of a big deal). Rooms were really small. Like very very very tiny. Toilet is also very small. We have gone to three different hotels, and this was the only place that did not help us with our luggages.

Everything was as shown on the picture. The rooms were super clean and tidy. The staffs were very helpful and ready to help at anytime. Specially, Kasun. Most importantly the owner Mr. Ranil. Exceptional service. Super warm and friendly. Very easy to reach. Made our stay so much better.

The water heater wasn’t working properly. Made it a little difficult as it was super cold during our stay. Overall no difficulties tho.
