Lovely holiday home in Southminster

Apartment was in a great location, close to many shops. Parking at the back of the apartment was a bonus. Great communication with the owner leading up to our stay. Apartment was clean and had most things we needed. Great to have a dining table fitting into a small area. A few issues. Shower door was broken. Oven needs an oven tray. The property is dog friendly, however after our stay I got a message from the owner asking for an extra £25 clean fee as there were dog fur found. My dog isn’t allowed on the furniture so it was only on the floor, and is also short fur. As an owner of a cleaning company I feel that £25 is a lot to ask for an extra few minutes to go over the floor with the hoover. I always hoover any holiday let I stay in when I’ve packed up as I have a dog. This property didn’t have a hoover , only had a dust pan and brush which I didn’t use as it was filthy. If the cleaning company are charging the owner an extra £25 for a few more minutes work then they are taking advantage of the owner. Either that or I need to review my costs with my company.

Clean handy studio flat. Would definitely return.

Nothing was to like

Cutlery was dirty, Bedding was awful. Shower was disgusting, shower door wasn’t fitted properly wouldn’t close..very dirty. Inside of toilet was dirty.

It was a beautiful flat with all mods and cons everything you need for a comfortable stay.
