Didn't dislike anything. Location was a little uninspiring, but that's nothing to do with the property itself and the hosts.

Bed was comfy and the host communicated well. Alp stated that he would address the issues with the bathroom and acknowledged the flat was aging and needed some works. I would state that this flat is perfect for a short stay and convenient for anyone that travels but not suitable for a family with a young baby as we were. Alp offered a discount for the inconvenience and this was appreciated.

The bathroom had mould and the whole flat was not cleaned as expected which was a surprise given the positive reviews.

Alp is an exceptional host. There were a few things that needed sorting and he made sure they were all sorted and he responded above and beyond any other host I've ever had. The accommodation is in the perfect place to being close to the NEC and it really did feel like a home from home. I had the place to myself so I had the choice of two bedrooms and the lounge was really cosy with a MASSIVE TV and a really handy kitchen with everything you would need - crockery, pans, mugs, microwave and oven. The decor is nice and well thought out. The Fish and Chip shop is perfectly placed and the neighbours are friendly. Be aware the apartment is in a large council estate and yes the occasional youth on a motorbike will be driving around at night, but it's East Birmingham and to be expected as it would be in any city suburb. But I felt totally safe and the locked car park and the nice neighbours made me feel absolutely fine as a woman on her own. I would highly recommend this property. Just bring earplugs for the very occasional motorbike!

Very little. It just needs a bit of an in-depth clean and the cleaner needs to remove the items previous guests have left behind. But Alp sorted pretty much everything that needed sorting so I can't see there being any problems.

It was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. Nice decor and comfortable bed.

Very modern large property with very good furnishings easy secure parking handy chip shop and corner shop right opposite.

Firstly it's not a 'new' contemporary flat, it's dated and untidy outside and needs decoration inside. It's located in an appalling council estate with young children racing around on motorbikes, other children playing in the road stopping cars from travelling around and a general noise everywhere - not relaxing at all. Easy enough to get into the flat but once inside the smell of body odour is overwhelming and permeates the whole flat. The bathroom was not clean, there were skid marks in the toilet, mould in the bath/shower and not somewhere I would go to get clean !! before I decided I could not stay there, I turned the oven on to cook a ready meal I had bought from the local Asda and as the oven had not been cleaned in a long while, the smell of burnt food overtook the BO smell in the flat. Also old food in the fridge !! Was told the flat had been cleaned but the whole place had an air of dirtyness, definitely the worst place I've been in for a few years - I travel probably 1 to 2 times a month for work and would normally book a hotel but this trip was last minute and no hotel rooms available near the NEC. Oh yes, the flat is opposite a fish and chip shop, so you can imagine the noise from that place with cars and motorbikes turning up outside and people shouting at each other (is this a Birmingham thing ?) I read some other reviews before booking and cannot believe it's the same place - something is amiss here.....

Great host, easy and clear information. The apartment was exactly what we needed prior to our flight from Birmingham airport. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Many thanks
