Windsor Cottage on The Big "W" Ranch

The bed was very comfortable, the cottage was well-presented and the views were amazing. Due to its remote location, it was very peaceful and quiet. We spent a long time reading all the rules and restrictions placed on us to stay here. I understand wanting to protect the property and must have had some bad visitors in the past, it was easier to do nothing but sleep in the cottage than risk fines for cooking etc.

An absolutely beautiful place, with the most stunning views, the cottage had everything we needed, and the most comfiest if beds.

There was NOTHING to dislike, just be prepared that your vehicle will need to be ok with tiny roads, windy hills and farm land......but this made it even more spectacular...... We loved it.....

Nothing, we loved it!

The location was absolutely brilliant, stunning views and well laid out. We loved having access to the guest garden to sit out in the morning and evenings. The property was very clean and comfortable, had all the facilities that we needed and helpful that toiletries and kitchen cleaning products were provided. Dave the host was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Would absolutely return here if we were holidaying in the Lakes again and 100% will be recommending to family and friends.

The setting was out of this world. The garden was amazing and so peaceful. The views were breathtaking. The apartment was delightful and immaculate. The llama s said good morning every day it was possibly the best place we have ever stayed.

Clean, comfortable, and attractively decorated. Equipped with everything you would need.

Access road is steep and narrow, but nothing to be done about this. Also, although the location is spectacular, the view is only through 2 very small windows, which is a bit frustrating. Again, though, nothing that can be done.
