Pier View Self Catering Luxury Apartments

Spacious room in a with a great view, in the heart of the city. It had everything we needed for our family stay. Ed was most welcoming, we only mentioned needing a cot for our baby and arrived to find biscuits and other complementary things for him. We’ll surely be back next time we’re in the area.

Beautiful apartment and spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and lovely pillows. Welcome pack with milk, juice, cereal and added extras on arrival was much appreciated. Location is fabulous, across from the pier and round the corner from the town. Great communication from Ed. Would absolutely stay again.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Pier View. The location was ideal, perfectly placed for everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and very welcoming. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, self-contained stay. Ed, the host, met us on arrival, clearly explained how everything worked, and shared some great recommendations that really added to our trip. With all the essentials provided and easy access to the town and Adventure Island, it couldn’t have been more convenient. The view was the finishing touch, it was absolutely lovely.

It was a little noisy on the night being close to the fair and town, but not excessive and did not ruin anything

Convenient location, having separate lounge, given a few welcome gifts for the kitchen

Had a occasional whistling sound in the bedroom but managed to work out it was the window so just opened it a crack and the sound stopped

Nothing about the property to dislike

It is like a home away from home and even more cozy. The mini lounge was comfortable and was a bonus lovely space. We slept really well and felt rested that I felt sad leaving too early. Hope to come back soon. Ed was so warm and welcoming. He gave us adequate instructions about checking out and even gave us an extra hour to stay (too bad I read the message late)

Nothing really. I wanted to charge my phone at my bedside table but the sockets were behind the bed. It was not bad as this made me rest well without me checking my phone all night.

Ce commentaire en français d'un Parisien tant le niveau de prestation de Pier View Self Catering Luxury Apartments est exceptionnel, digne du plus grand luxe. Commentaire un peu long mais se voulant quelque peu détaillé (pour une fois tant je veux appuyer sur notre satisfaction de notre séjour dans le guest house!). Tout est absolument irréprochable, d’un raffinement rare. Avec un peu de détails tant je veux partager cette expérience de séjour inoubliable : nous avons séjournée ma fille et moi 4 jours / 3 nuits dans la suite 'Princesse Caroline' (je voulais offrir à ma fille 22 ans un séjour "grand luxe" - pour la première fois des 3 fois que nous séjournons sur Southend & Londres), dans le guest house de Ed. Tout a été exceptionnel et extra-extra-ordinaire : accueil chaleureux et très professionnel, suite impeccable en terme de propreté et correspondant en tout point au descriptif et photos, pas une marque d'usure avec des matières de qualité, tout équipement dont on a eu besoin, placé formidablement dans Southend-on-Sea, et cerise sur le gâteau, monter les rideaux au petit matin et avoir une vue exceptionnelle sur toutes les beautés de Southend avec un soleil levant ! Luxe, tranquillité, bien être et forme exceptionnelle au lever...Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr, pour le (4ème maintenant) prochain concert au pub 'Chinerys' de notre groupe préféré; ce sera j'espère avec mes deux autres garçons de nouveau cette fois-ci, qui étaient bloqués cette année à Paris et Genève. Donc je bloquerais 2 suites (une 'Princesse ...' et une autre 'Lord ...). Ma "princesse" à moi a bien vécu comme une princesse dans la suite 'Princesse Caroline' -:). Donc à bientôt Ed ! On réservera bien à l'avance ! -:) PS : "il n'y a pas photo" comme on dit à Paris, les rapport qualité/prix est imbattable (nous avions réservé ailleurs dans Southend les 2 premières fois).
