New Luxury Penthouse beachfront in the Algarve

The apartment was easy to find and matched the location perfectly on GPS. On arrival, you’ll need to park briefly on the street (about 5 minutes) to collect the keys upstairs, and then you can park in the garage. It’s a bit of a hassle, but perfectly manageable. Access is straightforward: take the elevator to the sixth floor and then one short flight of stairs to the seventh. The neighborhood is diverse, with many Indian families, all of whom were friendly and respectful during our stay. We saw no reason to feel unsafe in any way. The apartment itself is small but spotless, modern, and extremely well equipped. You’ll find everything you need to cook, rest, shower, and watch TV (with full cable and streaming subscriptions). There’s even a dishwasher and washing machine with detergents provided. The highlight is the spacious outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying meals, barbecuing, sunbathing, or relaxing in the jacuzzi. The host is very responsive and provides a UK contact number, but replies instantly via WhatsApp. For example, when we mentioned that we were missing charcoal for the barbecue, it was delivered to our door within five minutes—fantastic service. The beach is a one minute walk away. Small waves are great to enjoy and feel safe with kids. Overall, this apartment offers an excellent combination of comfort, convenience, and value, with a host who goes above and beyond.

The single working elevator is old, small, and feels shaky when braking, so it might not be ideal for nervous riders (my child actually found it fun). A couple times we had to wait five minutes for it, especially when coming up from the garage with luggage. The building itself is dated, and the entrance is a bit dark, but once inside, the apartment is beautifully remodeled and polished.

Lovely and spacious apartment located very close to the beach and easy walking distance to local amenities. Standout facilities were the BBQ and jacuzzi which were very well maintained and the apartment was stocked with towels, bedding and kitchenware which was perfect for our needs. Luiz is a very welcoming host and was helpful and provided information throughout our stay.

It was very easy to collect the keys. We had all the codes and details we needed.

A few more small items would have helped us for the BBQ or in the kitchen.

The location and quality of the apartment is absolutely brilliant. The owner goes above and beyond to make the stay unbelievable. The cleaning lady even allowed us leave our suitcases there before official checking so we could explore this wonderful village immediately. Absolutely amazing apartment.
