Seagull's Sanctuary

Great apartment in a beautiful location right on the harbour quayside gorgeous views very spacious attention to detail it was beautifully designed and presented very comfortable. Nice touch with the local apple juice chocolates and a couple of bottles of water left for us plus wash tabs dish clothes etc. lovely soap etc in the bathrooms. Although above the fish n chip shop and restaurant no smells or noise we would definitely return

The decor and location were both superb. Although we wanted a quiet stay we were expecting a certain amount of noise from gulls, the road in front of the property and the quayside, but actually it was all remarkably quiet. Even the gulls were no bother.

There seems to be a bit of an issue with simple maintenance. The door to the balcony could not be unlocked in the normal way as the deadbolt is jammed. The kitchen bin won't stay shut which is potentially rather smelly. Some of the ceiling lights in the living room are not working. The kitchen sink plug won't keep water in the washing basin and it's an odd size, so even though we brought a spare plug with us we couldn't make it work. But the real issue is all these issues have been reported by many others over the last > 1 year and obviously nothing has been done. Seems to indicate a lack of care.
