Where can i start?

Perfect for what we wanted location wise & a fairly comfortable apartment too. Nice pool area also albeit a little busy but we always found a sun bed when we wanted one. A reasonable price for the seven nights we were there, & close to the beach, restaurants / bars etc.

The only problem was on arrival, as we’d arrived at 21:30 after a delay flying out . I thought we’d pick the keys up at reception however this particular apartment had a lock box & at the time of arrival we’d not had the apartment number or the PIN code through. We managed to contact the owner luckily & got the details, but it was a bit of a stressful few minutes. I’d just assumed as there was a reception that the keys would be there as I’d not used a lock box key system before .To be fair it was only a small glitch in what was otherwise a lovely stay.

Close to all the bars and shops, English TV channels Sun on balcony (4 hours) plenty of books to read. Bathroom is amazing. Shower was the best.

Loads of ants, microwave didn't work. Pans were horrible to use, don't bother with a fried egg. Plates and cutlery needs replacing. Could do with bigger better kettle.

Excellent location all-round!! The apartment on the complex is in a perfect spot and the main area where the complex is situated, is in a great location with plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc within literally a minutes walk! Roughly a 10min walk to get to the beaches, which are all surrounded by amenities that seem to cater to everyone's needs or situations. The facilities at Garden City are very good, the pool bar offers good food & drinks at very reasonable prices and the afternoon entertainment is truly an added bonus and very well received by guests & staff. The staff at the pool bar are lovely people, nothing is too much trouble, they are very accommodating. The complex is kept very clean & tidy and for that extra peace of mind, it has it's own security too. Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday/stay and would recommend Garden City to anyone who is looking for a self catering break. I will definitely be looking to return in the future. Thankyou to our host for the detailed communications, to ensure that we had a smooth arrival.

Unfortunately, which I believe is my own mistake, I didn't realise how small the apartment was and that it was fully open plan, with the only privacy being the bathroom. This made our stay a little uncomfortable due to not being able to fully relax (Mum, dad & 15year old son..... I think the issues speak for themselves) but I do feel the apartment is ideal for "couples". The apartment is dated and bathroom is a little dim, but everything was fully functional to meet our needs. Air con would have been huge advantage but hey, we survived with the fan supplied.

The location of the complex is great, we have stayed on the complex many times. The apartment was right by the pool on the ground level.

Linen wasn't clean on the beds, there was actually blood on the pillow case and on the sheet that still looked pretty fresh. The host tried to tell me it was crayon and wasn't sympathetic at all. The apartment is so hot and only has a small fan which doesn't really help. Definitely expect a few cockroaches being on ground level, but there were a lot in the bathroom.

Studio was close to the pool. People who run the pool bar are very friendly and make you feel welcome. During our stay we seen a fashion show, played bingo and games. People are so nice

We did not realise the studio had no air conditioning only a small fan which was not very good. We couldn't even leave patio doors open at night due to being on the ground floor. Couldn't get the safe to work. Rang the number given but the lady gave us the wrong info. Still couldn't open safe so we were left without one. We did actually ring Ann again. No offer of coming to fix the problem 4 small towels were left for us and started to smell after a couple of days. The owner left a small bath and a small hand towel each for 1 week. The info given stated we could only have them changed if we stayed for 2 weeks. Ceiling light cover was off, needs a new one.

Lovely location overlooking pool,/bar. Studio was modern and homeley and had mostly everything we needed

The only thing we would have liked is maybe a fan in the room as it did get very hot. As the terrace had no sun canopy perhaps an umbrella on a stand would be helpful just to be able to get some shade bur that is our personal preference.

Great location for local bars/entertainment. Pool bar good value. No issues with sunbeds.
