The host is super friendly and responsive! The place is super clean and had all we needed for our short stay! The area is a working class area, but overall it felt quite safe! Highly Recommended!

Our wonderful host was very responsive to our inquiries, met us at a convenient location in Catania, and led us through the narrow streets of a working class neighborhood to the location of The Room. The apartment was cute, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay including an espresso coffee maker and cold drinks in the refrigerator. We had an interesting walk through the neighborhood to a nearby castle, which our host had recommended ad we enjoyed. He even messaged us about something we had left behind.

The neighborhood was a little rougher than we had anticipated staying in but our host assured us that it was safe, and it was. Although it was a little noisy with people talking loudly and motorcycles going by in the alleyway below us, closing the balcony doors cut out the noise. We slept great in the very comfy loft bed!

The apartment is well-equipped and designed, clean and cosy, making a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Meeting the host, we received details about the city and the neighbourhood.

Neighbourhood looks a bit rough but it is only first impression. Davide was waiting for us when we arrived and help us to settle in the flat. Big thanks for a cold beer as a welcome treat (it was late september but still around 30C). Flat was cosy and clean with a little balcony, where you can see a tip of Etna. Davide arrange a parking for us right next to the flat, which is massive advantage! We couldn't ask for more. Location is nearly perfect, not far from the airport (around 10 min drive), walking distance to city centre one way and the beach the other way. If you want to feel genuine atmosphere of Catania, pick this place. Thanks Davide!

First impression, but it was just first impression. You won't regret to stay.

Cosy, lots of thoughtful touches, nicely decorated,. Very generous, friendly and helpful host. Great value for money. Central location. Down to earth working class area, full of friendly locals. Authentic Catania!

Awesome place built by the host. Very lovely decorated room. We got a welcome gift, and a late check in was possible as well. Walking distance to the central area was around 15 minutes. Davide the host provides a lot of information via WhatsApp. At the beginning, the area looked a little bit rough, but everything is safe. I guess thats the charming of Sicily :). Streets are very narrow, but it is possible to drive and you have a parking place in front of the building Can absolutly recommend it. :)
