La Terrazza da Ernestina

The terrazza was amazing! Hosts were lovely and the room feels authentic Italian. You have everything you need including a kitchen. You are staying with a kind Italian family. I loved the location just outside the wall with local bakeries and grocery shops.

I loved it all.

The hotel was old,built in the 1860's! Beautiful old fashioned wood floors that shined, beautiful ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom, huge chandelier above the bed. The hostess,Ernestine,Was friendly and charming,85 years old,so sweet.

The parking was a bit tight and no elevator,I'm on crutches

Comfortable apartment with big terrace. Fantastic owner and Host Ernestina who baked delicious cookies for us:):). Very close to Lukka walls and historical center.

The room was big , bathroom big also but without shower and was not comfortable.

We get the room from street and was incredibly noisy- constantly motorbike driving or cleaning streets, but the most horrible things was the picture on the wall with depicting fascist parade in 1938 in Lucca. Who in 21 centuries Anyone who hangs a photo like this, probably supports fascists or they proud of this history in Lucca-for me is disrespectful and disgusting!!!!!This people have no empathy. Me and my friends are from Poland and we don’t like fascist! This picture put me down so much that day and that woman was ask me and my friend if we are mother and daughter- we are 5 years different only.I’m travelling in my hole life and never have contact with this kind of people.
