Taorminapartments

Massimo picked us up at the train station and took us directly to the property. He did a walkthrough of the facilities and sent recommendations for groceries, restaurants, sites etc. We were less than a 5 minute walk to the grocery store and some excellent restaurants. The centre of Taormina was less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. It was very convenient to get around!

We really love the fantastic view and the spacious nature of the apartment and plenty of seating area. We also like the fact that we could park the car in a designated place.

It is up a hill but very good exercise for you. So we didn’t mind that. Being English, we would’ve loved having a kettle to make a cup of tea. But we survived by boiling water in a saucepan.

Beautiful apartment, beautiful views. The owner was very helpful

The owner was waiting for us when we arrived to show us around his amazing, wonderful apartment. Massimo the owner, was a kind, caring man who helped make our stay one of the best ever. We hired him to drive us to Mt. Etna and a couple of wineries in the area. Another day he gave me personal Sicilian cooking lessons and we made a beautiful, delicious dinner. He made our stay in Taormina delightful and memorable. And the view from the balcony is wonderful - you can see the boot of Italy and magical at night.

Nothing...cleanest, best set up, great kitchen with every pot, pan, appliance and the like you would need.

Wonderful home, the view and appoints can’t be beat! Very nicely located near the center of Taormina easy 5 min walk, all down hill! Massimo was very kind and a gracious host, when we arrived he helped park our car and brought our luggage in, which was much appreciated!

The apartment was very spacious and accommodated the 4 of us. The hot tub was a nice added feature to the apartment.

We arrived by bus and we walked 15 minutes in the heat with our luggage where we met the host at the bottom of the road where he then dove us up the hill (3 minute drive) - it would have been extremely nice if he would have picked us up at the bus station. We stayed 8 days in the apartment with the same towels. Would also have been nice if the host has a service to freshen up the towels ( especially if people are staying a while - or even provide more than one towel per person.) These added services would add additional comfort to people’s vacation.

5☆ + host, apartment facilities. Every last detail has been considered in this beautiful apartment. Excellent hot tub and terrace. Beautiful sea views. Short walk into Taormina town. Massimo was extremely helpful and rescued us when we got lost on way to apartment checkin. Safe parking area if you have a car. He also was helpful in recommendations of restaurants etc.

Only negative if you are not able to walk up very steep hill and steps this would be a problem. Difficult to get luggage up and down. Although Massimo very kindly took our luggage upto the apartment. Unfortunately wifi was out during our trip although it was being dealt with. Recommend having mobile data as backup.

The property was much larger than I thought it would be. It was very nicely decorated and everything was high-end. It was very close to the downtown and the cable car. Excellent location and quiet.

The steep walk to the apartment (and the drive up and down that hill) was difficult. If anyone has any kind of issue walking this would be very hard for them.
