Enormous CBD 1BR Unit with Parking by Zodiak Stays

DISGUSTING Customer Service from Zodiak Management who manage the property. I accepted the property because they advertised it with Free Parking. However, when I turned up to property, the garage remote wasn't there. I contacted them immediately, and instead of working toward getting me a replacement remote for the undercover parking, they spent a long time trying to contact the previous guests, like as if they could help! I tracked down the contact number and email of the Building Manager who was happy to replace the remote if he received a call follwed by email from Zodiak Management. They did not contact him until 2 days later (outside of building manager's operating hours. Operating Hours was clearly stated on the form I sent to Zodiak). I ended up having to pay for 4 days worth of street parking, sometimes a few hundred meters to two blocks away because traffic in this area is high volume, and I was constantly worried about the security of my car. Note, Auckland Transport charges 24/7 for parking in this area at $5 per hour. It cost me a considerable amount of money. They said they'd reimburse my receipts, but I am STILL, 2-days later, trying to chase them to reimbursements out of them, despite sending them receipts. Everytime, I ask them, they say they'll check and get back to me. They don't get back to me and I'm not sure if they've checked. It now feels like they are using delay tactics. The only reason I booked this place was because of their offering of free parking. So far, I'm approx $100 out of pocket to park in $5 per hour parking due to the fact that they lost the garage door remote and took 2 days to contact the Building Manager. They also gave me some excuse about their computer system being down. But I'm not so sure about that, because they didn't even try to call the Building Manager when I gave them his number. The property itself was nice enough, but service was disgusting.

The mattress was knackered and the curtains were completely covered in mould on the backs, the carpet was next to thread bare

Minor, just the TVs needed some working out.

Two bathrooms was a luxury in a one-bedroom apartment. The bedroom was large and sunny, and the balcony very nice. The location was great.

The bed was rock hard while also lacking support at the edges. The kitchen was a bit dark and gloomy.

Central city location with a short walk to restaurants and bars. Spacious apartment for a one bedroom with all the necessary amenities and lovely decor.

If the bed mattress could be upgraded it would be perfect. Guests need to be told in the check out notes to use the glass doors to exit the property once leaving the keys inside.

The photos online is true to the apartment. location is great. Paking included is handy. The general condition of the apartment is good. additional toilet/powder room.

The property is managed by a company that will ask you to sign a "rental agreement". the coffee machine was mouldy. One side of the bed springs were broken. sofa is worn but ok to sit on. there is no air conditioner but fans and heaters.

Complicated access & departure. Apartment is looking very tired, outdoor furniture is rusty, doorways & windows onto decks were disgusting, lounge furniture ripped & cooking pans need a good scrub. TV in the living room was not connected properly & took some time to find out what was wrong. The TV in the bedroom had no aerial connection at all so was useless. There were no instructions. We were told to leave the keys in the apartment on departure, but could not unlock the pedestrian gates without the security tag.

Is central to pretty much everything you need.

The Husband said his side of the bed was on a weird lean, but didn’t stay long enough to do anything about it. Was weird to have to leave the keys on bench, but use remote to get out of car park. Unless a car park available on the street, this would be difficult if traveling on your own. Also for this, only glass doors let you out of the building. Swipe needed for gates.
