The apartment was neat and clean. Very close to the centre with paid parking outside.

Beautifully decorated, clean and wonderfully retro, just my cup of tea! Everything we needed and in a great position for the city. Paulo gave us all the information we needed and was true to form, really friendly as Portuguese people are! I couldn't speak more highly of our experience!

There was nothing not to like.

The apartment was spacious. We enjoyed having our own rooms.

Some ants were moving into the kitchen. One bedroom door had no handle.

Fantastic apartment with a great location. The host was really friendly. What we loved the most however was the spacious terrace overlooking the city.

A washing machine in the apartment would have been nice.

Big house with three bedrooms and comfortable living room. Kitchen well equipped. You have everything you need in the house. Paulo is a friendly host and reply to mesaages/calls very quickly.

You can hear the neighbours talking/walking. Not so easy to find a car spot in the street, and it's paid from 8am (0.80 per hour). You can find free parking area around 7 minutes though, if you ask Paulo. :-)

I like the apartment. It's unique and somewhat historical. I like the view of the city off the back and the retro decor. The a/c works great but it's an apartment somewhat below ground level so it stays very cool so a/c is not really needed. We had no problem finding parking right in front on the street but remember it is pay and the meter only takes coins. It is free at night, just check times. I think the location was fine. If the owner checks into some of the below-mentioned issues I'd love to stay there again, but not for more than a few days as the one bathroom and 5 people was a bit difficult. Or I'll stay longer and leave the kids at home LOL

The cleaning could have been a bit better. There were some black bugs (NOT bedbugs, just regular small beetle-like bugs) and a few spiders and webs, in addition to hair on the floor. There is a pod coffee machine but we never found any pods. The apartment needs a full length mirror. One of the double beds has a problem with the support underneath. There is a strong smell of urine at the entrance (down the steps from the road and around the front door).
