Chiado terrace

This was a marvelously beautiful apartment in the heart of the city but very safe, very clean and well stocked. Easy walking to many places and transportation. Lots of closets and drawers to unpack and get comfortable. The little garden is a nice city oasis. The pictures don’t really do this place justice.

It is a bit of a challenge getting in and out of a large tub to use the shower. Not a problem necessarily, just not suitable if you have any disabilities.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. The location was excellent, near restaurants, shops, and transportation. The outdoor terrace was lovely and private. We enjoyed our stay here.

The hostess, Teresa, met us when we arrived, but we were unable to communicate with her afterwards. We called and texted but no reply. This was stressful as we needed help to call a Taxi for our very early departure to the airport. Since we don't speak Portuguese, it created some concern as there wouldn't be Taxis at 6:30 am. We finally found help at a hotel lobby. It would have been a happier ending if more communication was given.

This is a beautiful and thoughtfully appointed apartment. From the decor to everything you need in the lovely kitchen. The garden is an oasis after a day of exploring Lisbon. The location is excellent and a splurge at Rocco a fine restaurant or Wine Not wine bar and tapas are right on the block.

I can’t think of a thing we didn’t like.

Excellent location, very close to many restaurants and points of interest in Lisbon. Teresa’s communication was fantastic

The apartment had all the required facilities and more, just like being at home. Especially happy with the small backyard with table and chairs. The air conditioner was essential as temperature was 35°C. Well situated, very close to the city and sights. Bed was comfortable as was the sitting room.

Noise from bulding works in adjacent apartments was not acceptable. It was evident that heavy building activity was going on on the apartments in our block, including right next door, between 0800 and 1700 Monday to Friday. We checked in on Sunday, so didn't know until Monday. This should have been disclosed when advertised or prior to renting. The banging and electric power tool/jackhammer noises were loud - just crazy. Complained to booking.com and they negotiated a discount with the owner. Some satisfaction but overall not sufficient given the inflicted noise disturbance Please be aware that Lisbon is plagued with pick pockets, stole my wallet out of ruck sack on day 2 of 5 day stay. All my credit cards, 500€ cash and driving licence gone. Ruined the holiday stay. Don't like Lisbon!

This is such a beautiful apartment. Well located, clean, had everything we needed. Absolutely no complaints or concerns. If you're staying in Lisbon this is a good location to easily reach all points of interest by foot. A couple of blocks from metro and train. We loved this apartment!!
