The location is quite good, although it is not city center, you need to walk 10 mins to reach the center.

The charger you a cleaning fee, but everything was dirty. Hair in the shower, the couch was full with spots. And I had to take out the garbage myself. If you want to charge a cleaning fee, how about you include it in the price and not put it in the small prints. Broken chairs, out of the 4 chair, 2 was broken and unusable. A lot of broken things in the apartment. Additional the sheet was too small for the mattress. It came off every night and we had to fight with it every morning. The parking is also more expensive then advertised.

Where to begin! Cleaning fee: We were charged a 30 euro cleaning fee, despite having evidence of us cleaning the property to the required standards in the list. Bed bugs: All 3 of us are now covered in small bites after our one night stay. None of them are mosquito bites, so we assume they are bed bug bites.

Nothing like what we thought.

No real price and conditions! When we chose this accommodation, we did it because of its price and because we were looking for a place with parking. However, we ultimately had to pay for the parking spot (which was not at the location, but within a normal community parking at a distance of the apartment), plus a “cleaning fee” of 30 euros which must be added to the price. This fee is indeed indicated within the terms and conditions of the accommodation, but please, take this into account when comparing the price of this accommodation with other alternatives. When we inquired about this fee, we were indicated that if we left the apartment as found (we stayed only one night), we would be refunded. However, this has not happened. In turn, we have been told that we did not ask about this “formally”, when we clearly inquired about how to avoid the extra payment face to face with the person who opened the apartment for us. Afterwards, we have simply been gaslighted. The total lack of transparency about this “fee” has been disappointing, specially, because this is supposed to be a cleaning fee, and the apartment is far for clean. Guests pay 29 euros per night, but the apartment is full of mosquito stains in the walls, dust in the furniture, and even fungi (and mushrooms!!*) in the shower. We hope that this information sheds some light into the actual price and conditions of this accommodation.

The guest house is cozy and located in the heart of Porto. The host is fantastic, helpful and efficient. As we arrived we discovered that the shower didn’t drain the water: we called her and the handyman came immediately to solve the problem. Excellent
