Golden Star AV by An Island Apart

It was very spacious with everything necessary including washing machine, fully functional kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy. Also there are three balconies with nice view from all :). You have a private parking space in the garage with direct access from the apartment. The location is great as it is near major roads and at the same time right next to bus stations with direct access to the center of Funchal in 15mins. We tried walking distance from the center and it was around 45 minutes which wasn’t that bad because the area is pretty and it’s like a promenade. The check in was very fast, and the communication with the host was excellent via WhatsApp.

We had a really great stay! The apartment is large and very spacious, with a beautiful view. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes, which made everything very convenient. The location is excellent, and having a garage is a big plus if you’re traveling by car. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it!

The bed could be a little wider for extra comfort.

The location is great, there is a big shopping mall, many cafes, and a nice beach nearby. The host is very helpful. Wifi connection was good.

The apartment needs a proper renovation. The sofas are old and dirty, the carpet wasn't cleaned. There is no proper heating. Opening the entrance door was really challenging. The road outside is a bit noisy.

Asukoht oli hea, bussipeatus oli lähedal, ka lennujaama buss peatus seal. Auto rentimisel garaažis kindel parkimiskoht. Hypermarket asus lähedal suures kaubanduskeskuses. Maja ees üle tee oli aedviljapood. Puuviljad olid seal küpsemad kui hüpermarketis, näiteks anona. Köögis sai teha süüa, vajalikud köögitarvikud olid olemas. Voodi oli hea tugeva madratsiga, ei vajunud sisse.

Suvisel külastusel oleks see majutuskoht kindlasti hea, kuum päike ei paista otse sisse. Jaanuaris reisides on toad aga jahedad, sooja saamiseks toodi meile eraldi radiaator. Seinal olev konditsioneer puhus ainult külma, (ei olnud vahet, kumb režiim valida). Rätikud ei näinud puhtad välja, see häiris väga. Läbi suletud akna tuli üllatavalt palju liiklusmüra sisse, kõrvatropid aitasid magada.

Lokalita super! Stále je to hlavné mesto, do centra aj z neho sa dá dostať pešo, alebo mestskou dopravou, ktorá chodí často. Ste mimo toho najväčšieho davu, ale zároveň kúsok od centra. V blízkosti apartmánu je nákupné centrum, ale aj menšie obchody, kde si človek vie nakúpiť potraviny. Apartmán je priestranný, má 3 balkóny, čo je super! V strede pobytu nám prišli vymeniť postelné prádlo a dať nové uteráky.

Je tu málo odkladacieho priestoru - aj v spálni, aj v kúpelni. Na manželskej posteli bol iba jeden veľký paplón (vysoko nepraktické), poprosila som ubytovanie o jeden navyše, no nedostali sme ho. Práčka vydávala divné zvuky, radšej sme ju ani nepúšťali. Technik spolu so zamestnancom ubytovania prišli NEOHLÁSENE do apartmánu (riešiť problém s práčkou). Považujeme to za hrubé narušenie súkromia. Oceňujem, že riešili problém, no mali to odkomunikovať, dať vedieť že prídu. Ja som sa práve prezliekala v spálni - veľké šťastie že som to stihla!

Les magasins à proximité

Le quartier est très bruyant et ce jusqu’a 4 heures du matin voire plus mais ce n’est pas le problème. Le problème est qu’il n’y a aucune isolation sonore dans cet immeuble donc absolument impossible de dormir, c’est comme si les voitures se trouvaient dans la chambre. De plus, lorsque je l’ai signalé, on m’a répondu de mettre des boules-quies car ils savent que c’est très inconfortable mais ne l’indique pas dans l’annonce. A noter que même avec des boules-quies, il est toujours impossible de dormir durablement et confortablement..
