The location was perfect. Walkable distance to both the metro and Roma-Areeiro train station. (with train connections to sintra ). The apartment itself is very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The host was really kind to accommodate our last minute early check in request. They made the room available to us within an hour of our request! There were two elevators in the building which was a plus since we have twin toddlers and needed to use two strollers.

Couldn't use safety deposit box it was locked no instructions how to use, both showers vould not be connected to the shower holders on the wall as these were loose and they would fall out,Couldn't contact anyone to fix as you would in a hotel.

Every room hat a portable electric heater which was good because the weather was a quite cold during our stay. Location: close to public transportation on a big street but quite a few homeless people sleeping right next to the front entrance because it is covered from the rain. Public Parking across the street for 5 EUR/day

Absolute unprofessional and scam like handling of the booking with many hidden costs. After we had booked the unit we found out we had to send them 300 EUR via PayPal friends and family to enter the apartment (official PayPal for services was rejected so no protection whatsoever). A personal walk trough with the landlord to document existing damage will cost you 60 EUR extra. This is far from all booking standards I have ever experienced and you cannot even cancel the booking for a partial refund. I really advise against booking this property and recommend Booking to look into this listing.

Fraudulent actions, they did not return our deposit, they blame us for defects that had been in the apartment for a long time before our stay. They don't communicate. Unreliable. I absolutely do not recommend. Reply: I don't agree. Since you didn't reply to my messages, I wrote a review. We did not camp in the accommodation. We were well behaved there. In character, we only slept there. I was there with my elderly parents and our children. We didn't cause anything in the apartment. We only moved the bed in the living room so that the beds were next to each other. We forgot to return them to their original location, for that I apologize. You sent me photos of the dirty wall, which was long overdue. The dirty plaster is at a significantly different height than the size of the bed. I'm sure it was already like that before we arrived and the moved bed only highlighted it. The condition of the apartment definitely does not match the photos you have on the booking. But we didn't mind, we thought it was worth the price. We didn't have a problem with anything until you refuse to return the deposit and don't communicate. You also sent us a photo of the damaged mirror in the bathroom, we certainly did not do anything about it, I only guess that it is poor quality furniture and was damaged by the humidity of the bathroom. I consider the whole thing a non-serious act, or rather a fraud on our family, which has been using booking services for more than 10 years and we have never encountered this act.

Was a very comfortable home and a very nice area.

Very happy with our first experience with Lisbon Best Places (there will definitely be more bookings with them). Special thanks to Andre who very kindly answered all my questions and even upgraded us to the penthouse apartment - what a lovely surprise on checking in. The apartment is large, sunny, well equipped and while not in the centre of the city is located right next to a metro station that will take you whereever you need to go. We personally prefer to live off the tourist areas and explore local neighbourhoods so this apartment ticked all our boxes
