"If I return, I’ll look for a better place."

The location is not bad, and the best part is its proximity to The Rock Restaurant. The staff are friendly, and the room is good and clean.

The area is not very lively. Buffet options are very limited. Although my booking was partially refundable, the hotel did not accept my request for a partial refund due to missing the first night because of flight issues.

"Paradise on Earth!"

If you are looking for a true paradise to stay in the paradise of Zanzibar, book The View without a doubt. The property is a mix of hotel and home, bringing the best of both worlds. Fantastic place. Surely a home away from home. A special thanks to the hosts Joop and Judee. So nice and helpful. A big effort is being put into the place. Help to make trips, and also to make things work, when for instance the power is cut. This is Africa.

"Exceptional"

We had a great stay, we discovered the Hotel because we wanted to have dinner at the Rock restaurant but didnt want to drive back to our original resort. The view is the perfect name because it is stunning from your veranda. The owners Yudee and Joop Nigerian/Dutch are excelent hosts and their team is very friendly and effective. Brand new restaurant and tastefull decorated suites, food was great and the coconuts and beer are ice cold. The view is a must when going to Zanzibar. Thanks again Yudee and Joop we had a fantastic time... Frank &Asu

Nothing ….it’s exactly as it says on the tin …..an amazing position it’s up to you to make it an amazing stay
