9 Kyalanga Beach

Location is fantastic. Quiet block, secure parking.

The place is a bit weathered, musty smell of damp, rusty bits, bedside lamp broken, cupboard shelf falling down, worn couches. Nothing unusable, and generally comfortable.

It was self catering

Everything about the place was exceptional

Room more for self-catering than a guesthouse. The pillow cases need replacement. Could not access DSTV in my room.

Towels were supplied for 1 day only... How do you expect us to use 1 towel for 4 days Very unhygienic. I requested they change the towels daily and the cleaner says they change it every 4 days I find that to be filthy

Proximity to amenities and the apartment looks newly renovated and furnished

They didn't provide us with fresh towels.throughout our stay

The location is absolutely incredible. Right on the beach. I watched the sunrise very morning and took a dip in the sea. I slept with my windows open and could hear the waves crashing from my bed. The garden is lush and well maintained (biggest staghorn fern I've ever seen), the staff is friendly and helpful and the whole area radiates a sense of calm. The flat itself is tastefully decorated and well-equipped and the host was very helpful. Tame ibises! Visit the aquarium, it's lovely.

I noticed the place needs a little TLC. Some door stoppers were loose, one aircon isn't working, here and there some things are a bit worn, but that became of no concern once I smelled the ocean and heard the waves. There was also only one shared washing machine for a huge amount of people, but that's not the host's problem.

Great location

Although friendly, the cleaners are a bit loud in the passageway and behave as though it is their holiday home.

Could have been cleaned better.

Lights not working, shower leaking, and dstv was disconnected after the first night. The unit does need a little better up keep. The cleaners had a gathering spot right by our unit and did make a lot of noise. The one bedroom door handle also broken
