Bells from the church opposite Bed in the upstairs room had a very soft mattress, so we did not sleep well

Beautifully presented accommodation. Delightful welcome goodies including delicious bottle of wine and preserves. Exceptionally high standard of cleanliness throughout. We hope to stay again next year.

This property has excellent facilities in an upside-down arrangement. It is also in a perfect location in a quiet side street opposite the church in the centre of Rye.

Spacious, clean, contemporary and fully equipped with everything you’d need for a short break. The welcome basket included wine, milk, bread, preserves, butter, orange juice, nibbles and biscuits. Location was the best you could ask for and everything was just a short stroll away. As you’re right by the church, if you are a light sleeper, you may want to take ear plugs, if you don’t like the sound of faint chimes from the church clock, every half hour throughout the night

This is a beautiful cottage in a very central location in Rye. Exceptionally clean and comfortable and an excellent welcome pack. We had a fantastic long weekend.

For me absolutely nothing not to like. Wonderful. The cottage is though next to a church and the bells chime every quarter of an hour. Not a problem for me at all but my husband was disturbed on the first night. So if you are a light sleeper bear this in mind.
