Heart of Fossgate

We loved staying here. The shower was amazing, the size of the apartment was perfect for us. The location of the apartment couldn't be any better, we didn't realise how central we were. Every facility that you could hope for.

We were unsure if WiFi was available however we didn't ask for one so this isn't an issue for us.

Great location, in the heart of York, everything minutes away. Great restaurants on the doorstep and some wonderful shops and sights to see.

York has a big issue with homelessness with lots of people approaching you as you try to go about your business. This was somewhat off putting when trying to get from A to B but is obviously no reflection on the accommodation.

Excellent location, 17-minute walk from the station, 5-minute walk from the Shambles, 15-minute walk from the Minster, and 10-minute walk from the wall. Open-plan living area, great bathroom and bedroom (though bedroom does not have much room either side of the bed. Roof terrace for warmer days.

Several holes in the wall, one such hole in the bedroom, was covered by a painting low down on the wall. Did not detract from the stay though.
