Heart of Fossgate

Fantastic location, spacious apartment, lovely bathroom, huge kitchen although you don't really need it as there is an amazing choice of cafes, bistros, takeaways and restaurants just outside the door, suitable for all budgets.

There was only one teaspoon :-) (also, just to clarify....Netflix IS accessible but only if you already have an account)

The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. I noticed people had mentioned noise from the bar below but, although we heard it, it didn’t stop us from getting to sleep. The bed is comfortable and there are plenty of plug sockets for phones, hairdryers etc. It was mentioned that you can’t get “normal” tv but we only stayed for two nights so didn’t find that an issue. We didn’t use the balcony as the weather wasn’t warm enough but it was a large enough outside space. The location is superb, close to all the shops and bars and the owners were only a text away to answer any questions. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location for our stay. Living room and kitchen were very big and had everything you need if you want to cook.

Personally I would have liked a set of drawers and perhaps a dressing table with stool and smaller mirror but I adapted so it wasn’t too big of a problem.

Lovely stay at the Heart of Fossgate. Great location. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Lovely bath/shower. Comfortable living area. Meets all your basics needs.

Although in a great location. The room terrace wasn't the best. It does not show in pictures, but there were some awful buildings directly out the back. It's one of my worst views yet. The terrace seating is dirty plastic chairs. The terrace was slippy, so beware of that. Yes, it needs a good spring clean out there and some decent seating. But in saying this, we are at the end of winter. There was no toilet roll in the bathroom. Missing a few kitchen utensils. Microwave is a challenge to use. 22 steps up to the apartment, so it's not good for people with bad legs, although there is a handrail. This apartment could be amazing with a good declutter of cupboards and a few adjustments.
