Heart of Fossgate

The central location is just superb. Mike + Maria had the keys in the keysafe for 14 00 so we could get in an hour before check in, thank you. All in all it goes without saying that next time we're staying in York we will be staying here.

The fact we had only 2 nights in this fantastic apartment in this fantastic city. Thanks to everyone involved in making our weekend just about perfect.

Hot water was tepid

Loved everything! Great location, upstairs appartment but easy set of stairs so no issues (and I often struggle on stairs so very impressed). It was light, open, beautifully decorated and immaculate. Kitchen space was brilliant! The outside space was a total bonus! Contact with the owners was fab, very quick to reply. The location is such a short walk to the direct centre of town, and lots of different eating locations just outside your front door on the street if you can't be bothered to head to town! Loved the stay and will definitely book in future!

A fantastic place to stay in the heart of York City Centre. I would recommend the Heart of Fossgate as a great place to stay.

Facilities were great. Only downside was the Internet/ TV. Otherwise spot on.

Firstly there was someone's washing left in the washer so could not use the washer it also said sound proofing and it wasn't it also said patio furniture there was only chairs no were to put your coffee on except the floor the bedroom radiator had a mind of it's own when we put it on it turned itself off so we were really cold but lastly I nearly broke my ankle when I went to the patio to vape there is no light at all I've been to GP it's badly sprained this needs addressing urgently I was looking to make a complaint with yourselves apart from that the apartment could be made nice if they get some matching furniture we go to york a lot and this is the worse we have stayed at you can't get comfortable on that horrible furniture thank you honest opinion

The furniture is a joke no flood light out back no table outside to put your morning coffee on I was appalled washing was left in the washing machine had I not paid months before I would have demanded my money back or half and booked into a hotel we could not find the pass code for the wi fi rang 3 times totally did not answer till I left a message he said who ever stayed here last must of taken the sheet with the password on which I find hard to believe
