The Botanist's Hideout - Luxury Retreat with Parking

Fantastic studio apartment, very tastefully decorated with everything you need for a homely stay. Easy access, great parking and a short walk into town.

Only negative was the loose tap in kitchen area that dripped all night, but us and easy fix before next guests arrive.

Amazing location, short walk direct into York, plenty of shops within a few minutes walk too. Free parking space is a bonus.

Kitchen could have done with a few more utensils such as a colander, jug, fish slice etc

Location was perfect. Easy to find and great parking.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Gap between headboard and mattress so kept losing pillows down the side. Very dusty in places and found intimate personal items in bedding from previous occupants.

Really lovely apartment. The decor was sophisticated, the bed was comfy and the kitchen had pretty much everything you could want. It even had plenty of coffee sachets and even milk sachets in the fridge. The use of the parking space was really appreciated, considering the price of parking in York.

No electricity point anywhere near one side of the bed, so no using your phone as a clock while also charging it through the night. There was also no bedside table at that side of the bed. It's a minor thing, but it's the kind of thing you notice when it's not there.

Great location and very peaceful

Shower wasn't the warmest and hot water was barely enough for 2 showers.

Location was excellent, good design and good ambience

Small bed, cleanliness Used towels in a cleaning bag left behind, lots of accumulated debris under sofa cushions

There was nothing I could fault with this studio. I loved everything about it. Really comfy bed and so close to my daughter’s student accommodation it was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.
