Gillygate Boutique Apartment- Stunning City Centre 1 Bedroom Apartment

Amazing location, really close to all major attractions. Bed was comfortable had everything we needed. The welcome booklet had loads of useful and interesting information about York too.

Check in was 3pm so that it could be cleaned prior to the stay but it was apparent that the cleaner had just done a quick once over. There were stains in the toilet, black mould in both showers, thick dust on radiators, broken blinds in the bedroom (making it very dark), dust and cobwebs around the front and back doors and some of the dishes had to be washed before use. It was also really noisy due to neighbours and street noise. A shame as if properly maintained it could be great!

So near to the centre everything you needed even two bathrooms

The internet was a bit iffy

Being in the centre of town was very convenient, communication from the host was excellent everything was stress free.

Just as pictured. It was a lovely, warm and homely apartment. Within easy walking distance of main sites and to one of the hop on hop off bus stops.

On arrival not been cleaned. Bed sheets had stains, pillows were stained. Floor not hoovered. Oven dirty Sofa bed stains on mattress, rubbish underneath.

It was located near the centre

The heater in the bedroom didn’t work and it was very cold, it got very uncomfortable with the family
