clean very central for attractions

it was very dark and virtually no natural light if at all clostrflobic avoid this apartment steps outside were very slippery could do with handrail

Cleanliness - wasn't clean on arrival but when contacted agent, the cleaner was resent next day to sort out Sofa bed could do with replacing

Close to city center but quiet.

Sofabed uncomfortable, hard for even two kids to sleep in. Hot water in the shower varied a lot in temperature.

Very local to the city and attractions. Everything was within walking distance. We parked the car up (although car parking very pricy) and enjoyed exploring a beautiful place.

Sat down at the end of a busy day and wanted to chill, but we couldn't get any channels to work on the tv. It didn't spoil the weekend, would have just been a nice extra.

Central location within easy reach of the town centre

The property is a basement flat overlooked from the busy street and other buildings across the street. It was very dark and there was an odour of mould / mustiness. We saw evidence of damp and rot to confirm this. The internet tv was poor, spooling and dropping the connection. The sofa was NOT comfortable. The bathrooms had no shelves or area to lay out toiletries. Dust on the skirting boards and electrical sockets. Overall the property is “tired”

The apartment is in a great location, just 5 minutes walk to York Minster, with a Tesco store a few doors down. It is nicely decorated, although damp is evident and it was more than big enough for 3 adults, with the added bonus of 2 shower rooms. The bed was comfortable, however, unfortunately the bed settee was not.

On arrival, without going into detail, both toilets and showers clearly had not been cleaned. Thinking this was an oversight, we called the letting agency, not to complain but to make them aware, so it does not happen again. They asked if we wanted a cleaner to return. Not wanting to have to stay in waiting or for us to go out and someone come in, with our personal belongings in the apartment, we declined this offer, instead we went to Tesco and bought cleaning items. Looking at the reviews later, this is obviously not a one-off. Also, at night, the sofa-bed had to be made up, the duvet is disgusting and needs to be replaced, there is blood on it! Unfortunately, for these reasons, I will not return or recommend to anyone. Such a shame that these issues let it down, as it is a lovely apartment, in a great location.
