Outstanding stay! Large apartment with enough Room for 4 or more people. Spotlessly clean. Close to the Nile River, restaurants and shops. As everyone says the service from the host is beyond excellent. Makes you feell like an honored guest. Wonderful, wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

it was great !We like the place and staff who is helpful . We like the fact it has a fridge and washing machine. We like the owner telling us “just enjoy your stay it is your home “ it is literally an Egyptian philosophy : be happy.

Nothing at all ! It is great .

The apartment is in a quiet street and is very spacious. Only a few minutes walk to minimarkets, good restaurants, and private boats that cross the Nile to the east side. Yasser is always available for advice or assistance and regularly checks that everything is OK. He invited me for a very good home cooked meal and a trip to his happy place in the desert for tea and coffee to watch the sun set.

Very pleasant stay, amazing location to explore Luxor with the ferry close by and some bike rental shops as well. Yasser was very welcoming and ready to help every time I needed. The appartement was big, confortable and the terrace a lovely addition to that. Clean, AC working perfectly, kitchen and washing machine… I would for sure have the Brown house on top of my mind when I come back to Egypt.

Yasser has amazing hospitality and he helped make the stay exceptional. The rooms are entire flats (which I wasn't aware of when I booked) and very spacious and clean with fans and air conditioning to beat the Luxor heat. He helped me out with errands and getting groceries with his tuk-tuk and he even cooked lunch and dinner for all of the guests a few times during my stay. He also took us on a sailboat tour on the Nile with his friends which was lovely, and to the desert to watch the sunset with a view of the mountains. He's such a warm and kind person, one of the best people I've met. The brown house will always have a special place in my heart and I hope to come back in the future.

I stayed in the rooftop studio at the Brown House and could not have asked for a better homebase in Luxor. The photos don't do the space justice: it looks out on the Nile on one side and the desert mountains on the other, with a lovely private terrace. The furnishings are comfortable and the apartment spacious, far bigger than a studio. The location is excellent, minutes away from lots of cafés and restaurants and the Nile crossing. Arafat and Yasser were amazing, welcoming hosts, and I felt so safe and well-taken care of as a solo female traveler. I would love to be back, and recommend this property so very highly!

The wifi is reliable in the living room and a bit spottier in the bedroom, but it is no big deal. Overall this is one of the better Wifi connections I experienced in Egypt!

Host - Yasser was a fantastic host. He took very good care of our needs and provided all the logistical support in and around Luxor. He also invited us to his house for good home cooked meal and was always present when we needed him. Location - good location to restaurants and ferry terminal on the west bank Facilities - very good, apartment very clean with clean linen and towels. All appliances were in working order. Terrace - fabulous terrace overlooking the Nile river and the hot air balloons on the mountain side.

WiFi - was good but limited to hall room only

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Brown house. Salah and Yasser were very welcoming and helpful. Very spacious room, clean and tidy. Well located for access to hot air balloons, the valley of the kings. The east bank is a short walk and ferry ride across the river.

Wifi connection can be unreliable as with most places in Egypt
